Don't worry, former farmland is the best type of soil you can have. No roots, no debris, usually few stones.

And for the excavator, corn roots are obviously a bad joke.

Exactly. We also had corn growing there before. There are no disadvantages because of that.

I am bringing up this old topic again.

At the beginning of the year, we also bought a building plot, which was still used as a cornfield this year. Meanwhile, the corn is down and only a few centimeters remain. Construction start is flexible after the winter when the frost is gone.

How did you proceed regarding the garden? Did you sow something early or did you wait first?

We are by no means impatient - just want to take the chance to prepare the currently completely free plot as well as possible. If there are measures now that would make it easier to create a beautiful garden next year or the year after, we would be grateful for tips.

Don't do anything. Leave the floor alone. There is nothing to do now. Karsten

The plants are sleeping meanwhile and preparing for spring. Lean back [emoji2]

Hmm... I don't understand the problem. It is farmland > best soil.
