Tech. Construction Site Security Against Theft
Theft on construction sites is unfortunately an everyday issue.
I, like some of you, speak from experience as we became the "victim" of a professional gang. Not only the stolen goods but also the property damage caused during the break-in, especially the delay of the construction project due to missing materials and construction machinery, resulted in very high damage.
Insurance for a large construction site is unfortunately not an option due to even higher costs, especially since we had a security service on this site. However, this service noticed nothing of this incident, for whatever reason. We gave some thought to avoiding such situations in the future and have kept up with the times, just as with construction safety.
We found a security company that specializes in intelligent surveillance systems. The Leitner company monitors construction sites using video cameras without on-site personnel.
When entering the construction site, an alarm is triggered in the control center, which responds immediately to this event. Not only is security taken very seriously, but also the cost reduction compared to conventional on-site security personnel.
I am very convinced of this and can sleep peacefully again. Highly recommended.
