What exact information would be necessary?

Currently, it is 170m² divided into 2 separate residential units. The lower apartment with 100m² is rather modern and freshly renovated. Upstairs, everything is rather older. The attic is 70% developed. The house is 90% basement.

Built in 1956 and extended in 1976.

120m² without a basement sounds more like you should increase the insured value towards €330,000 (if the coverage amount is really at €220,000), right?

For the size, you can gladly calculate with 1500 to 1700 euros/sqm. Extras (special construction) are not included. Your insurance roughly covers about 310 TEUR. That could be sufficient.

For the assessment of construction costs based on value 1914, information about the basement, floors, roof shape, equipment of various components, etc. is necessary. There are plenty of insurance calculators online that take all this into account. The construction year only plays a limited role since usually a sliding replacement value is insured.

But I stick to it, why 330 if you already have 310?

Check the policy, find out the current factor and all is well.
