Hey, thanks for the reply. Yes, pedestals were also my first thought. Unfortunately, I need very, very many of them for my area. The laying direction for me (my wife wants it that way :D) was intended longitudinally. Wouldn’t that be rather suboptimal for drainage? So build the channel at the height of the WPC boards? I could then lead it into the existing channels in the concrete slab. What do you say about the edge? I would like to build flush with the ground, so with earth contact, filling the lawn a bit higher. Then I suppose I have to set new edging stones there? Thanks and regardsHey, with a 7 percent slope, you lay WPC most cleanly on height-adjustable pedestals. The substructure receives its own slope of about 2 percent away from the house. For drainage, you don’t need a drainage mat under WPC if the decking ventilation is free and the water can run off onto the concrete slab. The edge is critical. Plan a linear drain with a slope at the outer edge and lead it into a soakaway or an approved discharge. Alternatively, a gravel strip with a permeable substructure and a DN 100 drainage pipe in fleece. Leave at least 2 to 3 centimeters of air at the house and no earth contact. Pay attention to the door connection height. Good luck!
