You come across as very likeable again

Since they have a plot of land, there is basically a clearly larger amount of equity. However, I would also prefer to save for another 1-2 years and try to increase the equity so that you get a better interest rate.

Don’t let yourselves be unsettled. 20k equity and just under 4,000€ net are, in my opinion, not the worst conditions. We are also starting with about 20k equity but with about 4,500€ salaries and also 2 children.

So our nearly 30,000 EUR were considered equity - and the house is already standing.

The conditions are not so bad, but there is still a lot of uncertainty - you do not know the burden of a child, you have no idea what you wanted to put there.

Above all, the latter makes it difficult to set a financial benchmark.

I see the problem more like this! Of all the teenage relationships I know, they all broke up by the latest at 25-26. It is a phenomenon that affects both women and men at the same time, somehow the fear of missing out arises. Yes, I know yours is something special.

May be naive, but with a child planned and after 7 years of relationship, they may belong to the 50% of marriages that are not divorced.

and you very naive. It says "possibly even a building plot".. that means nothing at all at first! The two want a child and then we're talking about 3000 net, not even considering higher expenses due to the child. Whoever agrees to build a house there should really hold back on advice *shaking head*
