Brauchwasser heat pump BW-RS 7 sensible?!

Hello everyone,

we will be building with Heinz von Heiden and they offer an innovation package with a modulating brine-water heat pump SICV 6.2H3 and a secondary domestic hot water heat pump BW-RS 7 including a ventilation system with heat recovery. Now another company X told me that a domestic hot water heat pump is not sensible because it basically just consumes electricity. Can one say that so generally and is this statement correct?

no not useful. We have a compact brine-water heat pump and consume a maximum of 10 € for hot water on Monday. Even if the domestic water pump is given to you for free, it is not worth it because of the maintenance.
