Block steps or slip-resistant aluminum doorstep or natural stone window sill?

We're slowly getting into the details for the terraces and the transition from the house onto them.

Block steps seem to be the common good-and-cheap solution if I see that correctly?
As an alternative, I've come across slip-resistant aluminum window sills, but I don't really know what to make of them.

Are there any significant pros and cons?

With aluminum, I imagine installation and handling might be a bit easier. Since I have window widths or balcony doors that are 2m wide. I don't think block steps come that wide, so I'd have to split them, which I don't find visually appealing.

But I'm not sure what to think about aluminum heating up under direct sunlight when walking barefoot over it.

Or should it be a natural stone window sill after all?

Hi, there is a similar thread here. With aluminum, I would have concerns about dents, especially scratches. What speaks against artificial stone, terrazzo, or whatever. Also, the stonemason near you can make something suitable without a joint. That is sturdy and durable. And of course, they come that wide1 (they are just very heavy)

Sturdy aluminum exit is, I believe, such a wishful term!

So regarding artificial stone exterior window sills, I can quickly find nothing online (at least for outdoor use) either explicitly for indoor use or if it is supposed to be for outdoors, then aluminum or natural stone.

We have both a large hardware store here as well as some natural stone suppliers. I can't post more because that is not allowed.

Aluminium is just not particularly resistant to impact.
