Hi,
in our garden a biological. KKA was buried for us. That’s no longer just some tank with 3 chambers, oh no - the thing now needs a control unit with electricity. Well then.
As far as I understand, the technology only serves to blow air in and stir (mmm delicious). Now, I am a longtime aquarist and also have several large tanks, where the same principle applies. A standing body of water quickly becomes a dead body of water. However, not immediately. Now the question regarding this:
Continuous operation seems to me completely excessive for the purpose of biological. degradation. Almost all of my tanks are off at night and the biotope is perfect. Does anyone have experience controlling the KKA with a timer switch so that not so much electricity is wasted? Could it possibly be turned on only a few hours a day or something like stirring once per hour - done?
