Best wall construction in the prefab house sector

Search for the construction bloggers and Schwörerhaus, we got to know the builders through Schwörerhaus, they built ecologically on purpose back then and even received several awards for it.

Every manufacturer will promise you that their wall construction is the best and most ecological. In the end, most of them simply have mineral wool mats inside. So nothing helps but poring over catalogs and doing your own research. What we personally would have liked, but unfortunately was well over budget, was Held Haus from the Black Forest with their completely wood fiber insulation.

What is actually so bad about mineral wool? Nothing can really flake out of it in a wall. It is quite cheap and insulates well. Where is the problem? Some kind of tin foil hat story?

what is that exactly - it is a wooden post frame or am I misunderstanding something?

Ligno Trend builds the wall with cross-laminated timber. So solid. We used cellulose blown-in as insulation material. Recycling material, low CO2 footprint, walls become a bit thicker, better sound insulation.

Go to a carpenter who installs LignoTrend solid wood. Very convincing construction - the extra cost for solid wood was a bit too high for us - but we still stayed with the carpenter.

I believe that our choice builds very high quality, but unfortunately I can hardly find any experience from others about the respective builders.
