Hello everyone,

a air source heat pump is to be installed in our new building in July/August.

We would like to use the BEG funding (from 01.07.21), I have already read quite a bit about it and also watched YouTube videos.

It says there: From 01.07.21, efficient heat pump heating systems in new buildings are supported by the increased funding rates through the EE package (renewable energies).
Deadline: date of order placement

Has anyone already submitted an application there? Experiences?
We are not building according to KFW, is that a problem?

Best regards, Philipp

Hello,

I am not an expert, but I will share my thoughts on this:

If the installation of the heat pump already takes place in July/August, you have probably already placed the order for it. If the order was placed before the application was submitted, you cannot receive the new funding according to my knowledge.

An application for the new funding as of 01.07 can only be submitted from 01.07 onwards, so probably no one has submitted such an application yet.

Based on your information, I therefore estimate that you will not receive the funding. But on the [BAFA] website there are quite a number of well-answered FAQs, and in case of doubt, you can also simply call [KFW] or [BAFA].

Best regards and good luck

I see it the same way as Lotti88. And in addition, as you say, you did NOT build according to KFW. But in my opinion, the EE package is an optional package for the KFW houses. That means you can build KFW without EE, but not EE without KFW. So even if the deadline SHOULD fit, that is then the knockout criterion.

The most important criterion is, among other things, that the house is built according to [kfw55] guidelines. I am also currently dealing with the topic and recently called [kfw] about it. Unfortunately, the statements were not as precise as I had hoped. The fact is, you are not allowed to sign any construction contract or anything else related to the construction project beforehand! And secondly, no one has experience regarding how long [kfw] takes for processing... meaning it can definitely take another 2-3 months before you get the green light on this...
