Hello everyone,

I bought a house, it is now 11 years old. There is a bay window on the house and on the ceiling of the bay window is the balcony, which is tiled. Some tiles are damaged and now to my question: can someone tell me where the concrete slab ceiling of the bay window is sealed? Or how a bay window is constructed. Can I simply remove the damaged tile and insert a new tile, or is there sealing under the tile? I am concerned that the bay window does not become leaky. I hope you understand what I mean. Thank you all, I ask for an explanation because I am not very knowledgeable.

Hello,

No one here can answer that reliably because we don't know your house.

Ask the previous owner if they might still have the plans – especially the execution plans – for their house. Then your question should be answered ;)

Kind regards
