Do not panic immediately. One should just be aware of that.

On the page, there is also a map under the section "Übersichtskarte" showing how far the quartz pit can expand (until 2061), and what will be cleared in 2017.

The wind direction is predominantly from the southwest.

mh, the clearing could therefore extend south of the A4. Do you think this affects noise perception north of the A4? Or were you referring to possible health risks due to the loss of filtering effect against pollutant emissions. The expansion of the Frechen rest area on the highway is of course also rubbish.

The A4 is already loud enough on its own. From time to time, there is supposed to be "fog" today; that is, during strong wind situations. Experts say it is not harmful to health (so no fine dust). But nice is something else.

In addition, the groundwater level has to be regulated due to open-pit mining.

Colleagues say (but they live north of the railway line) that Königsdorf is a very nice place to live and reside.
