Hello,
quick question:
Is it OK if the water inlet of the bathtub is audible on the wall in our adjacent room?
On one side of the wall is the bathtub inlet. The back side of the wall = our office.
In this wall, so to speak, on the bathtub side, there is the chase for the inlet/fittings etc.
No boxing was done here, which is fine. We wouldn’t have wanted that.
If, due to the missing boxing, the noises have to be accepted, that would be OK for us.
But it scratches slightly in a strange way when filling the bathtub.
Not dramatically bad, but it’s there.
Therefore, the question to you experts whether this is OK or a defect and what could be responsible for the "scratching"?
We have already (X months ago) emailed the construction manager of the sanitary company (partner of our general contractor) about this. Result: no answer. That only makes us more alert.
Many thanks!
