Hello everyone,
we are currently planning the renovation of the old building bathroom. We have given a lot of thought to the floor plan, but have little experience. It would be great if some of you have valuable tips for us before the renovation begins. Maybe with your trained eye, you can also directly spot problems or ideas for improvement in our current draft.
Many thanks!!!
Comments on the floor plan:
1. Shower (100 x 160) and toilet will be installed on a partition wall. There are some surface-mounted pipes there. The shower tray will be enclosed with glass. A fixed element at the top of the plan. The right wall will have a fixed element at the bottom and a hinged door at the top.
2. The whirlpool bathtub (80 x 180) is partially (blue frame) under a sloping ceiling, which is quite high. Bathtub and toilet should be separated by a new small wall, which is as high as the bathtub. Above the bathtub it will be flush with the wall.
3. A new pipe will be laid for the washbasin cabinet (120 wide). The window opens inward.
4. A radiator will be mounted below the window.
5. One or more 1.2m wide tall cabinets should be hung under the washbasin.
6. The red box marks the position of the gas floor heating.
