It's all just tight. No one can get to the toilet if someone is standing at the sink. And sitting on the toilet with your back to the door isn't everyone's thing either.

Can you please say something about the pipe situation? What can be seen in the picture here?

Is that a solid wall? You have wooden supports inside for the statics, apparently all doable if you want to renew the piping anyway. But I wouldn't even talk about 50cm. For what you want, 8 sqm are completely sufficient. The problem is the dimensions. Fully tiled and all new: simply retiling takes away another 3-4 cm from the room. You would have to/could reboard and then extend by 15 cm right away. Nowadays, you have to double-board on tiled walls anyway, as far as I know. T-walls are quite good for square rooms but not for slim ones. Here, you create narrow bottlenecks.

This is an installation wall, inside of which runs the drain from the bathroom directly above.

Another idea: Shower on the left rear side, window on the right. Then the passage past the sink makes sense and you have space for a shelf and laundry basket on the left side of the room. Possibly a small bench that can be folded up or out for the laundry.

Here's my suggestion. Maybe that was also what meant.

I copied the draft into the blueprint and marked in red where there are deviations. That's about 50 cm. Blue is the shower curtain variant.
