Hello dear ones,

today another call for help from me.
I keep racking my brain about the layout in the bathroom.
Our proper bathroom planning will only take place well after Easter *grrr* and we ourselves just can't put anything together. We have also already struggled unsuccessfully with various online planners ☹️

We don't find the currently drawn layout very nice. This lining up along the right and left walls seems old-fashioned and not very cozy to us.
Please give us tips on how to solve this more beautifully.

The bathroom should include a walk-in shower with a built-up side wall (so no glass) without a door, a bathtub, a somewhat "hidden" toilet, and a large sink.
Then of course bathroom furniture, towel racks, etc.

What I find very chic are those half-built-in freestanding ??? bathtubs.
For a T-solution I find the room too small and it does not really excite us either.

I am grateful for any advice that helps me move forward!

Best regards

I think for a walk-in shower you need a much longer wall, I would estimate 1.40m plus entrance. Unfortunately, the bathroom is too small for that (I fear).

Try placing the shower where the bathtub is, then a wall towards the door that ends at some point to allow for an opening, and also a wall in front. Behind that, the toilet, and then maybe the bathtub and the sink fit more interestingly on the other side (bathtub half under the window?).

Best and most elegant layout ever! Even if everyone now uses Ts, Ls, and the rectangle as a circle. This is called simple elegance :) If you find it old-fashioned, then either spice it up with different types of tiles that match each other or with different tile laying directions. It's best to take a look at this in showrooms.

I find it likeable. How big is your bathroom?
Do you have concerns about the window above the bathtub regarding opening and cleaning?
