Bathroom planning in a mid-terrace house

Good morning everyone,
we have been pondering the layout of our bathroom for several evenings. The exterior walls of the house are already standing, the interior walls can still be moved.

I don’t like this long corridor-like bathroom. I also wonder if it would be too small in case we add a bathtub.
Unfortunately, we are beginners when it comes to building a house and have no idea how to design the layout of this bathroom.

Does anyone have suggestions, tips, or any other information on what to pay attention to?

Such an elongated bathroom is super practical. Not so much useless space in the middle, but everything used efficiently. You even have 12 sqm, which is more than enough. I would probably choose a larger shower, but I like the layout of the bathroom. Unfortunately, you didn't provide any measurements, so you can't see how long the individual wall sections are.

Thank you very much for your assessment. Unfortunately, we don’t have exact measurements yet; we are supposed to get them next week. I have to say, I still find it difficult to imagine a long bathroom.

What do you find so disturbing about it? 12sqm is really not small. Rental apartments have 5sqm, I have 7sqm in the terraced house and you have 12. That is really not cramped or anything. Is the square on the terrace a skylight?

Where is the 2-meter line? I could imagine a bathtub under the skylight, then possibly do without a washbasin if it becomes too tight on the wall. Measurements would be important for assessment though.
