We have the shower/toilet arrangement like that too (though the toilet is placed diagonally) and our bathroom is 3 m wide at that point. Our toilet doesn't get wet at all. Yours is 20 cm narrower, but even so, no water splashes that far in our case. The water splashes a few centimeters out of the shower (ours is 1.50 m long). And even if the toilet catches a few drops sometimes, it doesn't bother it. I would go with this option. Everything else feels cramped and oppressive, in my opinion. And I definitely wouldn't want to sit on the toilet with my back to the door.
