Hello,

We recently went through manufacturers and product/design lines and tried to sort out many that, for whatever reasons, don’t fit for us. Now there are still some left, but we can’t really classify them in terms of quality and price/performance ratio – maybe you could give your two cents on this – it’s clear that this will be partly subjective...

So, classification by quality and price/performance:

1. Burgbad (we like the stuff and it’s really good, quality and price/performance unclear)
2. Laufen
3. Duravit
4. Ideal Standard
5. Diana – does anyone know this?

In the extended circle:

6. Bette
7. Keramag
8. Keuco
9. Sanipa
10. Villeroy & Boch
11. Vitra

Is all this suitable?
Anything junk?
How would you classify according to quality and price/performance?

Our budget purely for material (without labor & tiles are extra) is about 20-25k for a main bathroom (18 sqm) and a guest bathroom (5 sqm).

Many thanks!

Hey,

We ordered the bathrooms in 2016 for a new build of our house through Reuter.de and chose everything from Keramag.

In the kitchen, Villeroy & Boch is installed, Kermic series.

We are very satisfied and would choose it again. Your budget is sufficient, depending on what you are really planning.
Walk-in shower......bathtub how big....etc.
We have a 24sqm bathroom, second bathroom 13sqm, guest WC 9sqm...and with tiles, electrical work etc. we were just under 31,000€,....
However, we did everything ourselves, so there were no labor costs.

It really gets expensive with the fittings....

Duravit. We have it. No problem with that.

Thank you for your answers, these are already good pieces of information.

Can anyone say something about Burgbad, Laufen and Diana Bad - we also like them...

Additional question: Can anyone say something about Vigour?

Private label of the GC group. In my opinion only available at GC or the "Elements" bathroom exhibitions. It was offered to us as a more affordable alternative to the big names, but I cannot assess the quality.
