Even at the risk of being annoying ... but can really no one here answer that?

Hello,

Why are you supposed to do that and what is the basement made of that it should have a smoothing of the outside?

Kind regards

Hello.

OK. I would have bet everything that I had written this ... you get old ;-)

It is a precast concrete basement that is poured on site, and according to the basement builder, this is not meant for smoothing but rather for roughening.

Hello,

Welcome to the club ;-)

So ...

These discs – suitable both for stone and concrete – are not specified by grit size, but in mm. For example, as here:

Grinding disc

1 piece

Diameter: 115 mm
Thickness: 6 mm
Inner hole: 22.23 mm

Please ask the basement builder or your BU to sell you a few discs; then you are on the safe side; they don’t cost a fortune.

Best regards

OK. Diameter and inner hole size only determine whether the disc fits on my machine or not. And the thickness basically just defines how long the disc lasts. I don’t think the basement builder will sell us the discs. He is currently much more interested in selling us the complete "service". Should we pay attention to anything else regarding the discs?
