Before sealing our basement, according to the basement builder, we are supposed to completely grind it down with a coarse grinding disc up to the grain of the basement.
Why are you supposed to do that and what is the basement made of that it should have a smoothing of the outside?
OK. I would have bet everything that I had written this ... you get old ;-)
It is a precast concrete basement that is poured on site, and according to the basement builder, this is not meant for smoothing but rather for roughening.
OK. Diameter and inner hole size only determine whether the disc fits on my machine or not. And the thickness basically just defines how long the disc lasts. I don’t think the basement builder will sell us the discs. He is currently much more interested in selling us the complete "service". Should we pay attention to anything else regarding the discs?
