Hello everyone,
a question about the base coat or moisture sealing of the plaster.
1.) Garage: In the area of the garage, 30 cm below the plaster, a mineral sealing slurry has been applied and then reinforced lime-cement plaster as the base coat. Before the top coat goes on, does another layer of sealing slurry etc. (or a similar product) need to be applied as moisture protection within the plaster? Or is it sufficient as it is? If yes, what would you do?
2.) House floor slab: In the area of the perimeter insulation of the floor slab, XPS boards have so far been glued to the floor slab. On top of that, a fiber-reinforced base coat in one layer reinforced and in two layers floated is to be applied. Is this okay and sufficient as moisture protection, or would you choose a different structure here?
Thanks for the help!
