So for us, two things were important: 1. Before pouring the concrete, the structural engineer approved the reinforcement (confirmed in writing) for each (slab/floor ceiling), and 2. we needed the concrete delivery notes. Both things had to be presented to the building authority for the shell construction acceptance. Makes sense too. If the steel is positioned correctly and the concrete is used within the allowable time, there isn’t much that can go wrong anymore. Unless the workers didn’t use a vibrator and the concrete is not properly compacted. But nothing can be done about that now anyway. If you want to be sure, have the structural engineer or another expert come with a rebound hammer to test the concrete.
