Hello,
Our garage builder made a mistake with the floor slab. For an inward-opening door, the floor slab has no rebate, meaning you can see a piece of the floor slab from the outside when the door is closed. This is at the spot where the paved driveway is supposed to connect later.
The garage builder says no problem, the guys who do the driveway just have to cut the stones thinner, then it'll work.
I haven't received an offer for the driveway yet, so I wanted to know, is he right?
Or should they simply cut away the piece of the floor slab and seal it again? Is that even possible? The garage is finished except for the screed, doors and gate are already installed. The floor slab is reinforced with iron chips and 18 cm thick, in case that matters.
Thanks a lot for your help,
Morgenstern
