We are getting our balcony today ;), Balkodur is going on it. I’m happy to send pictures when it’s finished, because here sealing and drainage layer are combined in one unit. The material is available in various versions and is supposed to be very durable. Even with installation, it doesn’t cost 1000€ per m² and you don’t have to install tiles anymore.

The costs are too high, but that has already been said. First of all, however, you should think about how drainage and surfacing should be done in the first place: point or linear drainage, the latter at the outer end or in/below the surface, drainage into the sewer (channel, downpipe) or as a drip edge or spout onto the property, etc. And then plan right away how the railing and the cladding of the front view will be executed.

There are ready-made systems for everything (have a look at Schlüter/Balkone-und-Terrassen) – you still need a professional who advises you and then executes it properly (just not for 36K...).
