Bad surprise at the basement stairs

Hello forum,

I have torn out my entire driveway and then also removed the concrete floor around the basement stairs. What came to light was a very damaged concrete foundation on which the tiles of the basement stairs were laid. Some of the upper tiles no longer have proper support and are loose. I think this is going to be a huge mess and will not be cheap at all.

Now to my question.
What kind of costs should one roughly expect for renovating such a problem?
And is it a big effort?
I know that this cannot be answered in general terms, but at least some rough estimate so that one knows approximately the range.

Concrete doesn't cost anything.. the question is whether you want to do concrete and new tiles. That will be more expensive due to the installation.

That looks like someone skimped on the cement when it was made back then. I don’t see any iron there either. If you want to tear everything out and recast the stairs with formwork, I’d budget at least €10,000, or maybe €5,000 if you find a cheap [Schwarzarbeiter].

I hope that the thing with the [Schwarzarbeiter] is a joke!!!
