I have now disconnected the ventilation of the attic today and properly aired it out. Let's see how it develops.

Because of the humidity/heat recovery of the enthalpy exchanger, I have recently always pushed relatively humid and warm air inside, which was cooled down to about 12°. Result: constantly over 80% humidity. Let's see where this goes now.

The original idea was to go with window rebate ventilators and then extract air at the top. The downside is that I naturally impair the efficiency of the heat recovery to some extent.

I think I will now only install the fans and then see.

What is the long-term experience? I now also have a dehumidifier up there. I just have to go up regularly and empty the container. Of course, warm, humid air comes up again every time.

Well, I don’t have long-term experience... it’s only been there for a week, but about 10L have been removed in the meantime and we are currently between 55-60% with low dehumidification (= amount of water). So I don’t have to go up that often to empty the water. We will see further.

Thank you! I will plug the dehumidifier into a smart socket. It already vibrates quite a bit through the ceiling. Let's see how much water I can draw out of the wood and plaster.

We haven't noticed any vibrations or noise; it doesn't bother us upstairs.
At least put your device on a rubber mat or something like that.
I assume that over time the amount of water you collect will also decrease significantly and that the effort involved in emptying it should be manageable. If necessary, there are also simple dehumidifiers with a hose connection that can be routed into a larger container (or even outside).

I no longer understand this topic :D there is a very similar parallel thread where there is a user who has a cold attic and stores all kinds of things there. Without insulation or anything like that. I don't understand how the problems can differ so massively.
