Attic Height - How much storage space is it really?

That's not possible, since our gables face north and south.


No, we don't know, but it will be added to the list of questions.


Good to know others do that too. Maybe we'll put some boards and blankets on the current floor.


Unfortunately, no children = no Lego. But cool idea.
I would also like to recreate the "final result" with wood sometime, but I think that will be more of a project for when there's more time.

Our attic has a height of about 1.45 m at 22°. The basic dimensions should be about 9 x 11 m and there is more than enough space.

Thanks for the photos! But you store everything in from the stairs/ladder, right? The window provides good light!

As the name suggests, you can only move forward up there by crawling. However, I did not find this particularly bothersome during my first inspection the other day. Boxes are carried up via the folding stairs and then pushed into storage at the top. It only becomes uncomfortable when dealing with particularly bulky and/or heavy items. The standard moving box (provided it is not packed full of books) does not pose a major problem. Secondly, loading the attic works best when one person hands items up from below.
