Attic conversion - obstacle or realistic?

If I’m not mistaken (and I’m not when it comes to recognizing house designs), this house is probably one already discussed in another forum, which a user named as Hanse Haus, which is built with a cold roof. Something like that naturally belongs in your question. However, I must say again: how many times has it been discussed in different phases? Twice? Three times? In addition to the roof expansion question… And each time you are shown that the floor plan has issues at every corner and wall for 5 people. Much of it is really not thought through for daily use. And any open, understandable criticism you dismiss with “that doesn’t bother us,” “there is enough space for that,” etc., and you (or your wife) come up with Pinterest creative suggestions on how to turn existing problems into something creative instead of building functionally from the start. I wouldn’t be surprised if you also stick to your ideas here and the answers here don’t reach your ears – for whatever reasons. Yes, it’s not nice when criticism pours down. But one should still take this criticism somewhat seriously. The house will be expensive enough, so it should also function. It’s not 70 sqm either; it’s barely 13/14 sqm that you can stand in and would officially qualify as living space – everything else is (just) storage space and nice to have.
