Sure, the trades have remained the same. But how do you expect to assess, with the experience from 30 years ago, whether the materials used now are the right ones and are installed according to regulations?

In the end, that just means you need someone who puts his Kaiser Wilhelm underneath it. Similar to us, since I am not a master electrician, but still did everything myself...

Awarding the trades should not be the problem. We are also considering this because we have craft businesses here that we have known for years and to whom we would now also like to give "something big" in the construction of our house. I think the problem is more the acceptance. I do not dare to assess whether the trade has been carried out professionally and meets all requirements.
