1. What exactly did you inquire about, and what specifically? 2. Where did I miss the questions that you now have?

Wanted an assessment of whether the price for the windows and installation is acceptable or overpriced???

So you just threw some kind of plan of your house at the window guy, no further specifications, "hey, tell me roughly how much the windows cost"?

Good point. But it is usually never included with the window manufacturer. Often done by a tinsmith or roofer. However, I always recommend doing something like that yourself, it is simple and inexpensive.

You might want to reconsider your comments....

Well, I'll try to respond to you appropriately. The first quotes were obtained through our planning office. The companies received our draft as well as the heat calculation from the structural engineer, along with a few requests from our side. After receiving the first offers, we went to a company’s showroom and discussed the windows/front door position by position with them. For example, we wanted anthracite on the outside and white on the inside for the windows, some windows without blinds/roll shutters, as well as a simple anthracite-colored aluminum front door without glass insert with a side panel, RC2 fittings on the ground floor windows/doors, etc.!
Since all these companies have very long delivery times (10-12 weeks), a colleague made me aware of a company that sources the windows directly from the factory in Poland and delivers within 3 weeks. The quote is just under €1,000 higher than that of the other companies.
However, it includes anthracite-colored aluminum roller shutter slats for all windows!

To get the expert opinion of the forum members, I posted the entire offer in pictures so you can see what is being delivered and whether it’s reasonable in terms of price/performance??
Of course, we had thought about the windows/front door beforehand and read various articles/forums and listened to podcasts on the topic.

You could describe how you would proceed in such a case??

I’m sure it wouldn’t just be interesting to me!

Maybe there are still a few forum members here who would share their assessment/experience!! Thanks :)

Well, just messing around stupidly like that probably won't fill my handful of posts so far *LOL*

Definitely coming around the corner with the background from post #11 ten posts earlier.
