Are there forward loans for KfW loans?

Hello,
prompted by another thread, I took a look at our construction financing account. 2 x Kfw loans and a main loan, interest fixation ends in early 2023.
For our main loan, I can view and calculate a follow-up financing or even a forward loan. That’s not possible with the Kfw loans. I have to wait 4 weeks until the end of the financing and go through the regular process.
Somehow our hands are tied now: main loan already under 70,000, both Kfw loans around 80,000. The plan was/is to finance 100,000€ in 2023, pay the rest from other liquid funds, and that would be it.

Or are we making a mistake in our thinking?

We can still sleep peacefully for another two years anyway, it’s not like that... But the real issue is that we HAVE to wait and can’t wait? Or?

Of course, you can conclude a forward contract for the KfW loan. Just not with the KfW, but classically through your house bank. Just give them a call.

Do you mean the loan bank?

Yes. Or somewhere else. It doesn’t matter at all. Talk to a broker, they can give you good offers. Changing banks is not a big effort.

I went through it online again. Our Ing-Diba wants three more pay slips, a site plan from the land registry office, etc ...., even though I have registered for a forward loan for our remaining debt with them. ... That’s the big problem with these online banks... Either we take this step now with the formalities or we wait another 2 years. I’ll ask you again in 2 years – this is currently too complicated for me, especially because we don’t really know yet how much we will/want to finance :D

But it costs a lot of money because the mortgage has to be changed. If the bank currently providing the loan has similarly good conditions, I would always go with them.
