Are the costs for a double garage justified or not?

Hello,

this year we want to have a double garage built in Saxony. The building permit is already available. Last year we obtained initial quotes and were shocked by the prices. Some were 65,000 euros without windows, door, and flooring.

Are these prices normal, or should we keep looking?

Many greetings,
Micha

As a prefabricated garage, you are looking at at least 30,000 EUR including foundations and basic electrical supply.

I also find 65 quite a lot now, but when I look at the details of the sketch... I wouldn't spontaneously account for it much below the price you mentioned.

I haven't checked the construction site, but I assume a good average in central Germany.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the garage is to be built from ( Ytongg ).

That was already clear. I wanted to show you the dimensions. 65 will probably fit plus or minus 10.

I have several concrete offers in heavy-duty execution:

all are around €50,000 including gate, socket, water connection/drain, etc.

Approximately 45-55T should be fine. We are building something similar with a flat roof with a simple slope as a wooden frame construction for just under 19T including 2 doors, an electric gate at 2.75m, and a slate-covered parapet.

In addition, there are foundations, drainage, paving as floor, and electrical work (all done by ourselves).

Solid construction is always more expensive. The floor slab alone will cost around 5-7T.
