Are recessed lights feasible with HaloX boxes?

Yes, I do not know that so far. But what bothers me is the relatively high price in relation to the material costs / benefit / function.

Let's see what my ceiling manufacturer says in a few weeks

But well, then I will probably choose a box wide enough that the feet of the recessed light are already parallel to the ceiling and not against the walls of the box. Thanks to you again.

So back then we used Spelsberg IBTronic 180. Maybe they are still cheaper price-wise?

With larger doses, less concrete is used after all. Maybe it balances out to zero!

(I can see a bit of a wink in the comment!)

The spring force on your Paulmann lights leaves much to be desired. Especially when the things have a sealing ring and the springs do not pull properly, you get annoyed. There are better manufacturers here.

Oh really? I thought Paulmann was a relatively good manufacturer. You mean basically that they don’t sit very firmly in the holes because the spring isn’t strong enough to press against the ceiling / the back of the junction box? Did you also order Paulmann for testing / installation yourself?

Which manufacturer would you recommend to me if there are better ones?
