Hello everyone!
After months of searching, we decided on a local carpentry company that is a bit more expensive but has an excellent reputation in the area.
We are now encountering the first inconsistencies: the contract is actually a scope of work with a few rough payment targets.
At our request to define inspections for the construction phases, we were told that the inspection only takes place at the end; there are no inspections in between.
The explanation for this: the carpentry company, in our case [GU], is responsible for all trades, so only a final inspection would make sense.
Are there other clients here who only had a final inspection?
Is it even okay if no intermediate inspection is conducted with [GU]?
