Are online banks trustworthy?

I never said that I know any dubious banks, I only meant that there are probably some shady online banks somewhere and you should just keep your hands off them because otherwise it can get pretty expensive. maybe I'm just a little overcautious but better that than ending up with a bunch of debt. I'm also glad that you don't know any dubious banks but that doesn't mean they don't exist ;-)

There are certainly trustworthy online banks, but the risk would be too high for me. I prefer to go to a non-virtual bank where I can talk to real people and be sure that I will get my money back even in a stock market crisis!

Yes exactly, there is now some kind of crisis going on with the banks... I would be very careful with banks that can only be accessed online. I prefer to play it safe.
