Hi,
I had some grout redone both on the floor and on the wall tiles, and the guys had incorrectly aligned the "grain" of the wood pattern in some small corners. These were pieces about 3*3 cm, and it was only noticeable on the third look when looking very closely, but I didn’t accept it.
The gap was simply the joint between the floor tiles and the bathtub base. One of the walls must be slightly crooked, in any case this gap opens up about 8 mm over 2 meters length. No way to just fill it in, so the water jet had to be used..
One of these corner strips made of stainless steel was also installed slightly tilted at our place. Although plumb, it was not flush with the tile surfaces but tilted by about 5 degrees. I agreed to a discount here because I just didn’t feel like having half a wall retiled because of it.
Regards,
Andreas
I would also be interested to know, what can still be improved after tiling?
Best regards
Sabine
