Hello, we want to improve the energy efficiency of our house: new roof, new windows, new plaster facade. Total estimated cost approx. TEUR 60. We want to have the work coordinated by an architect so that all trades can fit together sensibly. Question: How much does an architect typically charge for "Baubetreuung"? Well, I suppose it is an energy-related renovation. Especially in the area of ETICS and roof insulation, it’s not necessarily a bad idea to have an independent "expert" oversee the matter.

The TÜV, the energy agency, sworn and court-appointed experts, the association of private builders, the home builders’ protection association, independent freelance site managers, etc.

Very good site managers with the appropriate reputation can be found through these addresses, that is, people whose daily bread is the construction of single-family homes; I have found that architects either appear as "building permit officials" or "artist children." Therefore, I would always recommend hiring an architect for the administrative tasks and "someone who knows their stuff" for site management; of course, there are rare exceptions :)
