@nordanney I doubt that a HOAI contract has been concluded here until I have seen the invoice.

I think there is a BGH ruling that granted the architect the minimum fee in a similar case where there was a dispute about whether the contract was concluded or not. But that's only a vague recollection.
However, I personally do not believe that the double-digit amount demanded is suddenly justified for the services rendered and their disputed nature.
