Architect Building in Existing Structures, Northern Munich

The architectural scope for the conversion is not that large.

No idea about the style - no concrete & glass palace, nothing old-fashioned, my wife is responsible for the visual part :)
With the homepage, we were able to quickly filter out a few that appealed to us very much based on their reference projects.

We already have 2 architects who would do it, but with one it simply doesn’t fit on a personal level, the other is super likable, but probably not creative enough for us in terms of ideas – but since we are quite restricted by the development plan anyway, it will probably not be needed/allowed...

I have old plans, the construction company was actually Ytong AG – I think I’m not at the right address nowadays :)

Perhaps the dear lady spouse could let the discussion community know how to imagine her architectural taste. I absolutely cannot yet imagine any relevant reference project from which an architect could recommend themselves for your project just based on the website with a thumbs up or down. That is why I asked whether it should be a prodigy design that shows the housewarming party crowd where the hammer lies (and that the people from Düsseldorf can go home).

You, if we could describe that, it would be easier... When we see it, it’s definitely easier for us to say, yes, we like that. We actually had an architecture firm that appealed to us extremely in that regard, the contact during the joint site visit was also great, but two of them unexpectedly quit in the office.

Regarding Düsseldorfer - I am not German, so I’m glad if I’m tolerated here ;) We want a thoughtful, cozy, practical building that stands out a bit from the neighbors – at the moment the house looks to me like a shoebox with a gable roof.

For comparison, we both prefer a hundred times over to buy something from a small manufactory that delivers top quality, which you don’t know and where you can’t tell how much it costs – you will never see us walking around with LV or Hermes. Munich show villas can get lost on me, that’s why the search has actually been intensified somewhat outside.

That sounds like goals in opposite directions, as well as:

Grünwald is outside. And where shoeboxes with gabled roofs are considered cozy, one should not want to distinguish oneself from the neighbors for the same coziness (and would thereby also make oneself unpopular). The average German does not like being portrayed (or mocked) as a provincial.
