As measures, I could imagine seeking the already mentioned conversation with the [Kreis-Pinsel] and interfering as little as possible with the soil. That means not building a basement. Before purchasing the plot of land, I would demand a soil survey and if that is not possible, at least obtain permission to carry out one myself in advance.

Costs for archaeology and earthworks for 500 sqm Approximately €700 if nothing is found. The archaeological institute can provide exact information. If something is found, there is a maximum amount that must be paid; the responsible district office or municipality can provide information here.

Hello Baumfachmann Nothing was told to me about that. I come from NRW. I was told that if something is found, costs do not matter. Because then they are those of the landowner. The archaeologists are generous in that regard. Steven

Hi, I would ask again, if that is the case it should be documented in writing, the procedure is not the same everywhere
