Do you have the 12 meters in writing? Because the state building code only allows 9 meters.

Yes, I read it somewhere on the web and the lady from the building authority is an acquaintance. Here in Saarland, 12 meters. Really!

4. Garages including storage rooms, outbuildings, and auxiliary facilities for parking and storage, excluding the storage of substances with explosion or increased fire hazard, as well as greenhouses up to 12 m total length per property boundary; the gross volume of the individual outbuildings, auxiliary facilities, and greenhouses must not exceed 30 m³ each; the garages and outbuildings may, in addition to parking or storage purposes, be partly or fully basemented.

Okay, the 12 meters fit. Now I come with the next: 30 m³ will probably be a bit tight with the garage, don’t you think?
