I retrofitted about 30-year-old tilt-and-turn windows a few years ago with Abus parts: on the hinge side lockable with FAS101, on the locking side with a kind of FOS550A, that is, rods that run up and down into a kind of strike plate. We sleep with tilted, that is, unlocked windows. Now there was a very brazen break-in at the neighbors, and I am looking for something to additionally secure the tilted window. Not for insurance reasons, but for peace of mind... There is now a part from Abus (3030) for tilted windows, which is installed at the bottom on the handle side to prevent opening – but I cannot install that because there are already these rods there.
Could the following work: I install another FAS101 near the locking side. In the closed state of the FAS101, I can tilt the window because I basically turn around this axis, but the burglar cannot open it. When I want to open the window, I open the FAS101 by pressing a button...
Could this be a solution? Or am I thinking about it the wrong way? Tilting is basically turning around the horizontal axis, right?

Peterle
