Amidosulfonic acid? Phosphoric acid? For cleaning/limescale removal?

unfortunately, the tiler forgot to properly clean the tiles after laying them, I was abroad at the time. I have attached a photo, to the right of the original tile I have cleaned a bit while wet but the color doesn't get much better. I have read that amidosulfonic acid or phosphoric acid would be suitable for cleaning, can you remove this cloudy film with that? The completely white deposits are just dust from the construction site, which you can wipe off damp with some effort, as seen on the right.



I am grateful for any tips, normal tile cleaner from the hardware store doesn’t help at all.

Hey Yvonne, I had already tried the veil remover from Bauhaus, but unfortunately not much came out of it. The photos are JPG, maybe it’s because of the thumbnail? It works on the PC.

I see it better now. I would contact the tiler. It should probably look like the sample tile? It might be a defect. With a contract according to [Baugesetzbuch] you can report a defect within 5 years, but please do so formally, that is in writing with a time frame. Regards

I live here in Bulgaria, it unfortunately works differently here. I could also have all the tiles torn out and re-laid, it doesn't cost a fortune. But the dirt and effort are too much for me. Therefore, I am asking about experiences with cleaners, especially with "stronger" stuff, since the standard products didn't help.
