Alternative to flush-mounted radio

I just discovered that Gira, in addition to the UP radio, also offers a phone docking station that can be connected to the speakers. This way, you can listen to your favorite music via Bluetooth.

I have the combination of IPod touch + small Bluetooth speaker. Of course, it has a significantly better sound than an in-wall radio. The IPod is in a docking station that you plug directly into the socket. The Bluetooth speaker is on the bathroom cabinet.

Addendum: The voice control makes it interesting. You don't have to touch the device. And you could also have appointments announced or ask about the weather. Just a toy.

I also have the combination of smartphone and Bluetooth speaker (Bose Soundlink mini). In my opinion, it doesn’t get more flexible than that and the sound is excellent.

Doesn't really fit in the bathroom due to increased humidity - but in case someone is looking for something for the kitchen:

We placed a Samsung Galaxy Pad on our refrigerator (I believe there was a small stand for it once as a reward).
This way I can listen to internet radio via Wi-Fi (mostly in the mornings or while cooking when needed) and quickly look something up on the internet if necessary.
The only thing I still haven't managed: I actually wanted to transfer my recipe collection from the laptop to the pad. Like an electronic cookbook to "bring to the stove." But somehow everything else always seems more important. Well - I still have some time. The pad has only been there for just under a year so far.
