Hello everyone,

I am in the process of planning my speaker wiring, or rather selecting the individual components needed. Actually, I wanted to use the speaker connection sockets from our switch program (Jung LS990), but there are only stereo connection sockets available there. That means in every corner 2 speakers would be occupied and 2 would remain free. Visually not so great. And another switch program would certainly stand out if I took these for example from Gira.

Do you maybe have a tip for connection sockets? I would need speaker cables, RCA, and HDMI.

How large did you plan the empty conduit? Is a 40mm empty conduit sufficient for 2.5mm thick cables + HDMI + RCA?

We have Jung AS500, the technology underneath, that is, the contacts are the same.

What you are addressing, we also have, but we don’t see it. And for two reasons:
1) People look away.
2) The speakers are supposed to be mounted in such a way that the connection box behind them is ideally barely or not visible at all.

Unfortunately, I am currently on vacation, otherwise I would have shown you a photo. Although... they happen to be on it here. I no longer notice this "problem."

Thank you. Apparently I am the only one who is bothered by this, otherwise there would be more participation here.

We have no HDMI, so only RCA. These are relatively small sockets, which are covered by the speakers in our case. We haven't given any thought to the manufacturer's program at all.

Isn't the box itself the much bigger visual distraction? Whether one or another connection is unused doesn't make it worse, does it? And aren't there even blanking caps?

More important in my opinion is to match the color of the wall to the color of the box and to plan the position so that it is seen as little as possible. Behind decent speakers, entire pieces of furniture are hidden (provided the WAF is high enough).

Sorry, but that looks terrible It's just not acceptable. For us, the cables simply come directly out of a 20mm empty conduit into the box..
