Air-water heat pump, your consumption?

could you please share your annual electricity consumption along with details about the living area, building envelope (KFW70, 55, etc.), and whether it is solid or timber frame?

I just calculated that the air-water heat pump costs us €1300 more than the condensing boiler with solar. I would be interested to know how your consumption looks. I'm not really a fan of it, but with it we could save on the ventilation system to meet KFW70. If we use gas condensing boiler with solar, we definitely need the ventilation system.

What would you do? We keep reading about huge electricity bills, so we were actually thinking of gas for our KFW70 new build (approx. 200m²)

I do have a brine heat pump, but a properly designed air-water heat pump should have roughly the same running costs as a gas condensing boiler. Maybe (it really depends on the details!) 50€ more expensive in consumption, but you don’t need a chimney sweep.
