Hello dear forum,
we are currently in the process of realizing our planned new construction project.
Now the heating engineer came and informed us about the eligibility for funding from Bafa for air-to-water heat pump systems.
Originally, we had planned an air-to-water heat pump for indoor installation (because we do not have an ideal location for a split unit due to the structural conditions).
We have underfloor heating planned throughout the house, heated floor area approx. 190m².
Now he comes with the information that in order to receive the subsidy, a system with corresponding values is required and that it only works with a split unit. And additionally, there are extra costs of about €5000, which, however, I will more than make up for through the subsidy of about €7000 in the end.
Originally planned was a Stiebel Eltron system for indoor installation, now it is supposed to be a Rotex with an additional cost of €5000.
Since I am an absolute layman when it comes to heating systems, I can hardly make sense of the statements and hope for your tips.
Now to my questions:
- Is it really the case that the eligible systems make such a big price difference?
- Are there really no eligible systems for indoor installation?
Many greetings
