Additional costs for a prefabricated house

I will have to do that, with windows retrofitting is unfortunately not very useful if it's only about the color. For all other features like reed switches, I already have a good alternative that will cost me about €50 per window.

Furthermore, I will try to paint the front door and have it installed by my supplier at the same time as the house is being built. I'm curious to see if the developer will agree to that.

Sounds quite "normal" to me. When we were in talks with different people back then, we also got such "extra charge" prices. For example, they wanted 8000 EUR for a second chimney (just the chimney!!!). Luckily, we quickly found a good architect. We do build expensively.. but we also get the corresponding performance for it. and that is exactly the difference..

But since allegedly not a single supplier from the property developer (I believe 4-5 are listed with them) offers a reed contact, the property developer themselves would install a reed contact but want a staggering €150 per window sash for it. Isn't that usury?

Well, every provider has their own strategy for their price segment. In particular, providers who offer a rather cheap base price are also known for increasing the margin in the back. In other words, the more you add from the price supplement list, the higher the provider's profit margin on the house.

And yes, the provider also tries to have as few suppliers as possible in the assortment. The more they sell of the same model, the bigger the discounts.

It also facilitates handling in the workshop as well as logistics.

True, I did not question that, but I strongly assume that it is wrapped. Accordingly, I can have it wrapped in the future. I wonder how much something like that could cost?

I wouldn’t be annoyed about it, but simply accept it. And 3500k in relation to the house price doesn’t really matter in the end, does it?

There are reasons why you build directly with your little sister or with Bien-Zenker. Price bottom right!

If you want this and that as well – why not just go with Bien-Zenker? They probably include several colors.
