The savings would be enormous - with €450 annual heating costs and €9000 surcharge - that's good
I am sure that Keitelwand also doesn't want the mineral wool to mold, so I assume that the inner fiberboard is also sealed... (I'm also happy to be proven otherwise)
Just as a side note: if the new building (after moving in) molds, something was done wrong.

Sorry, but maybe you should inform yourself again about the fire behavior of these materials. Wood has some of the best fire properties and a long resistance time. Styrofoam is simply just extremely dangerous and will burn down your entire house in seconds.

Hello,

That is not correct; it is true that a charred wood surface (not veneers, but e.g. roof battens) slows down the combustion process.

The longest resistance duration is concrete, if it is not reinforced with steel. But who would want to live in a concrete bunker

Surely not in seconds, but once it burns, it is advisable to escape the fumes.

Rhenish greetings

That is not the entire wall construction!?!

With provider A you then have the mineral wool visible
and with provider B, due to the lack of an installation level, all
wall fixtures are then cut through the foil?

I can only agree with Bauexperte... and a lot has to happen before the styrofoam catches fire... just because it burns in the lab when you hold a lighter to it... doesn't mean you'll have the same effect on the house wall. Most facade fires, by the way, are caused by burning trash bins... But well, try building yourself... and better inform yourself... styrofoam that burns in seconds... (is probably soaked with accelerant)... otherwise your statement cannot be explained...

He probably meant NEOPOR (R), a high-performance styrofoam insulation material that has graphite particles added. This insulation has a higher insulating effect at the same thickness than conventional styrofoam insulation. Those who are afraid of burning styrofoam should, in my opinion, stay away from graphite (personally, I consider this fear unfounded, but that is not relevant here).
