I don't understand the concern: 3 m total width - so two parts each 150 cm wide - is still almost child's play for a lift-and-slide door, I even advise against anything under 2.5 m because I see that as the joke limit. The question remains: why even decide on this design? - is there already something to see here on how the house is supposed to look?

HS are probably standard at 3m. I find the statement from your GU a bit strange. We have 4m. That's not something special either and slides easily. Our 5-year-old can handle it, the 3-year-old cannot. And definitely only take it in two parts (by the way, I've never seen it in three parts), the larger opening is actually one of the advantages.

Ok thanks. I will just try to watch it live somewhere and test it.

We have 2 large 5-meter wide lift-and-slide elements in the new building.... So 3 meters is really nothing unusual. Currently, we have a 3-meter element and we wouldn’t want to miss it anymore, definitely the best decision we made in our old building.....

How did you divide the 5-meter elements? Do you need a lintel because of the statics?

: I just saw some pictures of your construction site. I like it a lot . Do you have concrete lintels above all the windows (because of the insulation on top)? Or are those roller shutter boxes?
